We came here on a Sunday afternoon. It's located in a spacious strip mall with plenty of free parking. The restaurant is quite large with tables and booths. It was also clean. We were warmly greeted and made to feel welcomed. We ordered fried egg rolls, salt and pepper calamari, beef stew, seafood pho, and a Thai iced tea. Overall, everything was pretty good. However, the calamari was fried too hard and the beef stew was not as thick as the other beef stews we've had.

Was thoroughly impressed with everything we ordered including the bun Bo hue, salt and pepper seabass with green beans, roasted chicken and broken rice, and the GINORMOUS big bone with bone marrow (special request/secret menu)! Came to the restaurant upon recommendation by a friend and they definitely delivered -big on flavor (without being too salty or greasy), big on portions, and wonderful service as well! Needless to say, we have found our new favorite Vietnamese spot in town! Can't wait to go back and try different dishes off their extensive menu!

Great service. Really good food. And nice prices. Waiter was on it! He was attentive and quick. Food was delicious. We all got something different. Pho, stir fry, pork and shrimp and tofu lemongrass; all of it was tasty and filling. Check it out, you will love it.

Pho Viet Cafe is a mom-and-pop restaurant on the southwest side of town. The owners were welcoming and gracious. Their YELP profile says they've been open 20 years, I can't believe that I haven't found them before this. There weren't a lot of people inside, so I hope that they do a lot of takeout. Hubby ordered the catfish, my mouth is watering thinking about it, and the dish was filled with huge chunks of crispy fried fish. We had enough to split the entree. I got a grilled pork rice noodle bowl. Now, if there's one thing that irks me about Asian restaurants, it's how the pork always tastes old. Pho Viet's pork tasted nice and fresh. My son got pho, which he said was very good. The true test of any restaurant is how the left-overs taste the next day. I'm happy to say that they were great, and we fought over them. We'll be putting them on the "dinner wheel."
